Dezinaworld Cheeky Challenge - Chocolate and Lime

This week at Cheeky Challenge the theme is CHOCOLATE AND LIME.  The image is from e-vint.com (no longer trading) and everything else was Googled.

The Three Muses Challenge - Alphabet Soup

All my own work except the feet.  I painted a colorful background in ArtRage to which I added Photoshop brushes.  I then cut the dress and hat from the background and used my own painting of face and arms. Photoshop splatters were  applied to the black background.  Font filled with background.

Digital Whisper Challenge - Vogue

This week's theme "Vogue" made me think of Fifties Fashion and, of course, Grace Kelly, and of course the song from High Society - "Well, did you evah?" - Photo found on Google, background by Itkupilli.

Have you heard that Mimsie Starr
She got pinched in the Astor Bar
(Sloshed again, eh?) She was stoned
Well, did you evah?
What a swell party this is.

The Three Muses Challenge - LOVE

The meaning behind this is self-explanatory.  The painted lady is, of course, a Modigliani image with added heart and hands.  The painter's picture is from e-vint.com, altered and overpainted.

Take a Word Challenge - Hearts/Digital Whisper Challenge - Violin.

My "hearts and violins" picture is for Take a Word and Digital Whisper, a case of piercing two hearts with one sharp bow.  Much better than killing two innocent birds with one stone.  The musical lady is my own creation, painted in ArtRage digital painting program.  I'm particularly proud of the bustier.  The background is a collage of various bits of old ephemera.  The violin and bow were googled.

Dezina's Cheeky Challenge

This week at Dezina's Cheeky Challenge is TIME MACHINE.  This one may not have been successful but he tried.  Picture of man Googled.  Other elements from Marta van Eck.
